700 Signatures, Clarke Board of Supervisors Meeting, VDACS

Wow, 700 signatures and counting. Thank you all so much. We're proving that when our community stands together, we can create real change. Douglas Lawrence, of the Clarke County Board of Supervisors called me this morning. Doug Shaffer reached out via email this evening. They wanted me to share that THIS upcoming Tuesday, April 21st is a Clarke County Board of Supervisors Meeting. VDOT will be in attendance. We need YOU to be in attendance as well. I know it's bad timing, but if you can make it, the meeting is at 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Government Center at 101 Chalmers Court in Berryville. 2nd floor meeting room. Attend even if you don't intend to speak, we would like to pack the room. I will present the petition to both VDOT and the Board at the meeting. If you'd like, you can sign up to speak as well, 3 minutes per County resident. The sign up sheet will be just inside the doorway as you enter the boardroom. Lastly, if you have photos of the spraying or before/after photos, please email them to me at berryapiarybees@gmail.com. Include as much detail as possible regarding date/time and include your name/contact info. I will be meeting with the VDACS Investigator tomorrow morning and we will tour the damage. I expect soil and plant tissue samples to be collected, as well as photos and other information. I will receive a copy of the report when it's finished. I have a feeling we might just do something here. Keep sharing and let's keep this momentum. If we can get over 775 signatures, that would be representative of 5% of the population of Clarke County.
