The Issue

There was a time when Tennessee Titans fans were excited about the direction of this franchise. There was a time when Amy Adams Stunk was celebrated by many fans for the energy and attention she brought to the organization. The 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville was a defining moment, bringing hundreds of thousands of people together and putting Nashville and the Tennessee Titans in the national spotlight.

Titans fans showed up. Nashville embraced the moment. There was excitement, pride, and a belief that the future of this franchise was bright.

Today, many fans are asking a very different question: What happened to the organization we once believed in?

We are calling on Amy Adams Strunk to fire Burke Nihill as President and CEO of the Tennessee Titans and bring in new leadership that can restore confidence, establish a clear direction, and help rebuild the relationship between this franchise and its fans.

The Mike Vrabel Firing: A Turning Point

In January 2024, the Titans fired Mike Vrabel after he led the franchise to four consecutive winning seasons, two AFC South titles, and an appearance in the AFC Championship Game. While the team's performance had declined in his final seasons, Vrabel had established a winning culture and delivered some of the most successful football Tennessee had experienced in years. Since his departure, the franchise has continued to struggle. General manager Ran Carthon was dismissed after the 2024 season, and the organization has continued to make significant changes to its football leadership. Fans are entitled to question whether the decisions made after Vrabel's departure have moved this franchise forward.

When Does Accountability Reach the Top?

Coaches and General Managers have been held responsible for the team's results. But what about the executive leadership overseeing the broader organization? Burke Nihill serves as President and CEO. Although he is not personally responsible for every roster decision or coaching call, his position warrants scrutiny when evaluating the organization's leadership, stability, and overall direction. Repeated changes in football leadership, continued struggles on the field, and further turnover within the business organization raise legitimate questions about whether the current executive structure is delivering what Titans fans deserve. We cannot keep treating every setback as an isolated problem while failing to examine the bigger picture. If leadership changes are necessary throughout the organization, then the executive leadership at the top must be evaluated by the same principle of accountability.

A New Stadium Cannot Fix a Leadership Problem

The new Nissan Stadium represents a major investment in Nashville and the future of the Tennessee Titans. It should be a symbol of a new chapter for this franchise. But a new stadium alone cannot restore the trust of frustrated fans. That requires a clear vision, sound organizational leadership, and a commitment to building a consistently competitive team. Titans fans deserve to feel proud of their franchise again. Fans deserve to believe that the people leading into this organization understand the importance of winning, stability, and maintaining a strong relationship with the community.

Amy Adams Strunk: Remember What Titans Fans Once Believed

The excitement surrounding the 2019 NFL Draft demonstrated what this franchise could mean to Nashville and its fans. Many fans once viewed you as a leader who could help take the Titans in the right direction. That history matters. Fans are not asking ownership to forget the past. Fans are asking ownership to recognize how much confidence has been lost and what must change to rebuild it. Titans fans have continued to support this team through disappointing seasons, coaching changes, rebuilding efforts, and uncertainty. Fans' loyalty should not be taken for granted. We want the excitement back. We want the pride back. We want to believe in the future of this franchise again.

Demand: Fire Burke Nihill

We are calling on Amy Adams Strunk to:

  • Fire Burke Nihill as President and CEO of the Tennessee Titans.
  • Appoint an experienced executive leadership with a clear, long-term vision for the franchise.
  • Establish greater accountability throughout the organization, including its business and football leadership.
  • Restore fan confidence through consistent leadership, responsible decision-making, and a commitment to sustained competitiveness.

This petition is not about expecting perfection. It is about expecting accountability at every level of the organization.

We recognize that Nihill is not solely responsible for the team's football performance. However, we believe the organization's continued struggles and repeated leadership changes warrant a serious change at the executive level. The Tennessee Titans once gave Nashville and their fans a reason to celebrate together. We believe this franchise can regain that connection, but doing so requires leadership that earns the trust of its supporters.

Amy Adams Strunk, Titans fans stood behind this franchise when they believed in its direction. Now we are asking you to listen to those same fans and make a change at the top.

Fire Burke Nihill. Bring in new leadership. Restore the pride of the Tennessee Titans.

Sign this petition if you believe Titans fans deserve accountability and a better future for this franchise.
