The Issue

To the Members of the United States Congress:

We, the undersigned, call on our elected representatives to sponsor and support two landmark pieces of legislation — The P.I.E. Act of 2026 (Prosperity, Integration, and Equity Act) and The C.R.E.A.M. Act of 2026 (Compensation Restoring Equity and Means Act) — to advance racial and economic justice in the United States.

These Acts, introduced by community advocate Sheena Ratcliff of Fort Worth, Texas, and supported by the Black Native American Afro-Indigenous (BNAAI) organization, represent a moral and economic commitment to healing the generational harms caused by slavery, land dispossession, forced relocation, and systemic exclusion.

About the P.I.E. Act of 2026

Racial Prosperity Act: Piece of the Pie Initiative

The P.I.E. Act promotes equitable growth and restores generational wealth for Black, Native American, and Afro-Indigenous communities.

Provides 40 acres of land (or fair market equivalent) and a $400,000 direct payment to eligible descendants.
Establishes a Racial Prosperity and Equity Fund in the U.S. Treasury.
Ensures disbursement of funds within one year of enactment, with penalties for delays.

About the C.R.E.A.M. Act of 2026

Compensation Restoring Equity And Means Act

The C.R.E.A.M. Act delivers lasting reparative justice through sustained financial compensation.

Grants a $20,000 one-time hardship payment and $3,000 monthly lifetime payments (adjusted for inflation).
Eligibility verified through historical, genealogical, or tribal records.
Administered by the Departments of Treasury, Labor, and Interior with transparency and oversight.

Why This Matters

When land and labor are stolen, so too is the future. These Acts address the racial wealth gap, loss of land, and economic exploitation that continue to harm Black, Native, and Afro-Indigenous communities.
By supporting the P.I.E. and C.R.E.A.M. Acts, Congress can take a historic step toward equity, healing, and shared prosperity — ensuring that justice is not delayed another generation.

We urge Congress to act now — to sponsor,  co-sponsor and pass the P.I.E. Act of 2026 and the C.R.E.A.M. Act of 2026, advancing a future built on truth, repair, and unity.

Signed,
