Dear Stonebridge Ranch Community Members,
We are pleased to inform you that our petition to call for a special meeting aimed at removing the current Stonebridge Ranch Homeowners Association (HOA) Board of Directors has garnered 1,150 signatures. This surpasses the required 10% quorum, representing 950 households, as stipulated in our governing documents. Your active participation underscores our collective commitment to positive change within our community.
Ensuring Signature Validity
To account for any potential duplicate or invalid entries and to ensure that we comfortably meet the quorum requirement, we aim to collect between 1,500 to 2,000 signatures. This buffer will help guarantee that we have the necessary valid signatures to proceed without any discrepancies.
Next Steps According to the SRCA Bylaws
To ensure a transparent and orderly process, we will adhere to the procedures outlined in the Stonebridge Ranch Community Association (SRCA) Bylaws. While the specific steps are detailed in the governing documents, the general process includes:
- Submission of Petition: We will formally submit the petition to the SRCA Board, requesting a special meeting.
- Notification: The Board is then responsible for notifying all association members of the special meeting, including the date, time, location, and agenda.
- Special Meeting: During this meeting, members will have the opportunity to discuss and vote on the proposed removal of the current Board of Directors.
Voting: A specified voting process will be followed, as outlined in the Bylaws, to ensure fairness and accuracy.
For a comprehensive understanding of these procedures, we encourage all members to review the SRCA Bylaws available on the official website:

How You Can Help
- Continue to Share: Please continue to share the petition with your neighbors and encourage them to sign.
- Verify Your Information: Ensure that your household has signed only once to maintain the integrity of our petition.
- Your continued engagement is crucial as we move forward. We will keep you informed of any developments and upcoming actions.
We are committed to fostering a community that genuinely reflects the values and desires of its residents, rather than being subjected to a board that seeks to maintain power and operate our association with indiscriminate control over all community decisions, excluding member input.
Under Texas law, specifically Texas Property Code Section 82.103(a), each officer or member of the board is liable as a fiduciary of the unit owners for their acts or omissions. This fiduciary duty obligates board members to act in the best interests of the association and its members. Should the current board fail to adhere to these statutory obligations and our demands for a special meeting and the removal of the current Board of Directors not be met, we are prepared to take further action, including filing a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's Office.
Thank you for your unwavering support.
Sincerely,
Anonymous!
