The Ultimate ZhuZhu Pets Revival: Bring Back the Original Hamsters & Launch the Definitive 3D CG Animated Series!
We, the dedicated, passionate, and nostalgic fans from all around the globe, are calling for a massive revival of a toy and entertainment phenomenon. We petition to restore the original, classic franchise of Zhu Zhu Pets and greenlight a brand-new 3D CG animated television series based on the rich lore established in Quest for Zhu—now officially titled and known simply as The Zhu Zhu Pets.
For years, the original four hamsters captured the hearts of millions with their distinct personalities, interactive charm, and boundless energy. It is time to bring them back to retail shelves and television screens in a high-quality, modern, yet deeply nostalgic 3D CG format that honors the golden age of MoonScoop-era animation.
The Vision for the Series
This proposed 3D CG animated series will star our favorite, iconic core four hamsters and their beloved human owner, navigating a world filled with heart, humor, and chaos:
Pipsqueak: The fearless, energetic, and natural-born leader.
Num Nums: The sweet, cautious, and deeply caring soul.
Mr. Squiggles: The brilliant, gadget-loving, and quirky inventor.
Chunk: The laid-back, food-loving, and lovable powerhouse.
Katie: Their adventurous, responsible human friend and owner.
Together, this inseparable team will embark on a wide array of adventures, emphasizing core values like Friendship, Teamwork, Resourcefulness, Cooperation, and Mutual Respect.
But life with four sentient, hyperactive robotic hamsters is never smooth sailing! Audiences will be treated to a delightful blend of high-stakes games, epic adventures, intense drama, crazy shenanigans, unfortunate mishaps, ridonculous catastrophes, and hilarious petty occurrences. Amidst the chaos, Katie must constantly balance her normal life while keeping her deep, magical interaction with the Zhu Zhu hamsters a secret from the rest of the world.
The Shared Universe: Connecting with "The Care Kids"
To make this revival truly spectacular, the series should embrace a brilliant creative concept rooted in fan history: a shared, visually harmonious suburban universe.
We propose that the human characters from Welcome to Care-a-Lot—known as The Care Kids—live right in Katie's neighborhood. They are her classmates, neighbors, and peers. This connection is seamlessly driven by a brilliant technical and artistic reality:
The MoonScoop Animation Style: Both properties share the distinct, nostalgic, early-2010s MoonScoop-era 3D CG style. They feature identical character proportions, rounded facial designs, oversized expressive eyes, specific lighting techniques, and an incredibly colorful suburban aesthetic. They naturally look like they belong in the exact same town.
Compartmentalized Magic: Both shows revolve around ordinary suburban children who secretly brush against magical worlds. While Katie hides the magical Zhuniverse, her neighbors—The Care Kids—secretly visit Care-a-Lot. Neither side needs to explicitly cross over or disrupt the other's canon; instead, they coexist beautifully as classmates sharing a town full of hidden wonders.
Why Now? Why Sign?
Nostalgia is at an All-Time High: The generation that grew up with the original 2009 Zhu Zhu Pets and Quest for Zhu are now teens and young adults looking for high-quality, faithful revivals of their favorite childhood media.
A Proven Concept: The classic designs of Pipsqueak, Num Nums, Mr. Squiggles, and Chunk are timeless. Returning to this specific aesthetic—combined with modern 3D rendering—will bridge the gap between old fans and a brand-new generation of viewers.
Rich Storytelling Potential: Combining the chaotic humor of the Zhuniverse with a grounded, relatable suburban school setting offers endless episodic potential.

To: Toy Manufacturers, Animation Studios, Distributors, and Fans Worldwide
The Core Mission
We, the undersigned fans, collectors, and animation enthusiasts, are officially petitioning for two major initiatives:
The full restoration of the old, original Zhu Zhu Pets toy franchise in all its motorized, unpredictable glory.
The creation of a brand-new 3D CG animated TV show based directly on the foundational lore of Quest for Zhu (now titled and known simply as The Zhu Zhu Pets).
The Vision for the New Series
We envision a high-energy, heartwarming 3D CG series that honors the classic characters while expanding their world. The show will star the iconic core four hamsters—Pipsqueak, Num Nums, Mr. Squiggles, and Chunk—alongside their loving human friend and owner, Katie.
Together, this inseparable crew will navigate a whirlwind of adventures, teaching viewers the timeless power of:
Friendship & Teamwork
Resourcefulness & Cooperation
Mutual Respect
Adventure, Drama, and Shenanigans
Every episode will balance rich storytelling with absolute chaos. While Katie tries her best to balance normal life and keep her special bond with the hamsters under wraps, the team will constantly be thrust into high-stakes games, deep emotional drama, crazy shenanigans, unfortunate mishaps, and ridonculous catastrophes! From backyard exploration turning into epic survival missions to petty everyday occurrences blowing up into neighborhood-wide disasters, the scale of fun will be limitless.
The Shared Universe: Connecting with "The Care Kids"
The ultimate creative pillar of this petition is a brilliant narrative connection rooted in animation history. We petition to have the series share a subtle, grounded universe with The Care Kids (the human children from Welcome to Care-a-Lot).
We propose that these children are actually Katie’s neighbors and classmates, existing naturally in the very same suburban town. This connection is built on a flawless fan-theory foundation:
The MoonScoop Era Visual DNA: Both properties share an identical, nostalgic early-2010s MoonScoop-era 3D/CG style. They feature the same signature character proportions, distinct lighting palettes, expressive oversized eyes, rounded facial designs, and snappy animation timing. Visually, they look like they were born in the exact same neighborhood.
Compartmentalized Magic: Both shows follow ordinary suburban kids who secretly interact with magical worlds (Zhuniverse and Care-a-Lot). By keeping these magical realms private and unknown to the general public, both casts can seamlessly coexist in the same school and social circles without ever causing continuity contradictions.
Organic Overlap: The Care Kids can sit next to Katie in class, ride the same school bus, or play at the same local park. They don't need a forced, explicit crossover—simply seeing them share the same beautifully lit, colorful suburban environment creates a rich, interconnected world that fans will adore analyzing.
Why Now?
The world needs the genuine joy, creativity, and tactile fun of the original Zhu Zhu Pets. By pairing a revival of the classic motorized toys with a visually stunning, narrative-driven 3D CG series, studios have the chance to capture the hearts of both nostalgic older fans and a completely new generation of children.
Sign this petition today to demand the return of the Zhuniverse, the restoration of the classic toys, and the greenlight for a MoonScoop-style 3D masterpiece!
