Ireland's government  has come under huge pressure from supporters of cruel hare coursing to allow a full resumption of this horrific practice. It was suspended two months ago in response to confirmed outbreaks of a deadly disease disease that is fatal to hares and rabbits.
 
Buckling under the pressure from the powerful and lavishly financed coursing lobby, the Government has consented to a partial resumption of hare coursing.
 
All the more reason for us who oppose animal cruelty practises posing as "sport" to apply pressure of our own!
