Why ban the use of fireworks?

Heya. I’m a proud 26-year-old kiwi and I'm a huge lover of animals, nature, art and all that.
I want to keep this short, sweet yet powerful!
I believe people should have a stand for this cause as I know NZ can go loud (When they believe) I hold myself proud to this because I want to be the first to stand and make a change for our pets, as well as wildlife. I want this to become LOUD. I want this to come true. I want to make a statement loud enough that people become enticed enough to read MY words.
I also want the proud moment of telling my family a petition I took a stand on is something I had the courage to do.
I may get ‘hate, criticized’ maybe even ‘trolled’ for MY beliefs, but don’t you see, EVERYTHING can have an effect, not only on our environment, BUT on our animals as well, and for this, I’m not afraid to stand up to this cause.
This Year In 2024 I hope to make this noticed.
Noticed enough to get the signatures required enough to make a change.
If not, then oh well at least I tried.
Let me tell you about fireworks so I can help you understand.
Fireworks are dangerous because they are a class of low explosive pyrotechnic devices used for aesthetic entertainment purposes.
Most are filled with combustible materials including Saltpeter, Potassium Nitrate, sulfur and charcoal.
Potassium Nitrate is an inorganic chemical impound also known as the chemical formula KNO 3. It is an ionic salt of potassium ions and is therefore an alkali metal nitrate. Which are inorganic to nature.
Why ban the use of Fireworks in New Plymouth Taranaki New Zealand?
Not only do we have zoos here in only Taranaki, but it’s also frightening... deadly too, which is what I mainly want to point out in this. And in Aotearoa we do care. We care about our animals as if they are in fact family members.
Farmers are probably annoyed, and ‘over it’ having to move their cattle to which they cannot do anything for them, people who own horses, like I have, it’s stressful knowing their unpredictable behavior when they start to “freak out” about the noise pollution happening all around them without any realization to actually what’s going on. But we know. Some animals, because of this can unfortunately die. They even become injured enough to die from the injuries themselves. Or just really expensive vet bills.
I want to stop this from happening so that we don’t have to mourn our beloved pets, Expensive bills, why should we, when we can change the reason as to why. And well that's fireworks in this manner.
This type of noise pollution can have effects on our wildlife, birds, dogs, cats, horses, cows, even sheep.
The fear that animals cause is widespread and well-documented. Even in SPCA New Zealand article.

Animals aren’t just our pets they are our family members, and we cherish the times we have with them.
Again I want to keep this short and sweet and hope you consider signing this petition.
Thank you for reading this and giving me a chance to say my say here in Taranaki.
