Petition to Ban Destiny from Kick for Hate Speech and Calls for Violence

The Issue

To the Leadership of Kick Streaming and the Broader Public,

We are calling on Kick to immediately review and remove the streaming privileges of Steven Bonnell II, better known as Destiny. In the aftermath of the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, Destiny has taken to his platform to spread hateful rhetoric, dehumanizing remarks, and even explicit calls for violence against conservatives.

This conduct is not only deeply offensive but actively dangerous. Encouraging violence and celebrating fear as a political tool directly violates the principles of safety, decency, and respect for human life. Platforms that provide a stage for such speech become complicit in the harm it causes.

Why This Matters
Hate Speech Normalizes Violence: When a popular streamer calls for violence against people for their political beliefs, it doesn’t stay confined to words. It fuels hostility, legitimizes aggression, and puts lives at risk.

Exploiting Tragedy: Using the death of Charlie Kirk to further divide, mock, and terrorize others shows a disturbing lack of humanity and compassion.
Platform Responsibility: Kick has a duty to protect its community from speech that incites harm. Allowing Destiny to continue broadcasting under these circumstances sends the message that calls for violence are acceptable entertainment.

We demand that Kick:                                               Ban Destiny from its platform for violating community safety and integrity.
Publicly reaffirm its commitment to preventing hate speech, harassment, and violent incitement.
Protect its user base by enforcing consistent consequences for those who exploit their reach to spread fear and hate.

Kick has an opportunity to prove that it values human dignity over clicks and controversy. Allowing a streamer to openly call for violence against an entire group of people, especially in the wake of tragedy, is unacceptable. We urge you to take swift and decisive action.

We stand together against hate. We stand together for safety.

Sincerely,

T Hernandez
