I am pleased to announce a new website "English Bird Names for Stability" which now has all the information compiled from this petition site.  All the essays and comments are linked and there is new material as well. Historical bios that Van Remsen has been posting on Facebook have been compiled and are now easily accessible. Just click on the "Historical Bios" check box.

I want to highlight a new piece "Statement to AOS on Blanket Changes to Eponymous English Bird Names" by Greg D. Jackson, (Member, American Ornithological Society) that only appears on the website.   

We are still being blocked from posting the petition information on many state birding listservs. If you are a member of a state listserv (Georgia anyone?) and the petition link has not yet appeared, and you are willing to post, it would be appreciated!
