Please post the link to the petition on your Facebook page, Twitter, or on Instagram. Posting the link to your state birding listserv or local birding Facebook page really works (we had a great turnout in Colorado after I posted it to COBirds!)
Send emails to your friends and colleagues asking them to sign. And ask them to share! Make sure to mention the comments by the initial supporters at the bottom of the petition text on the main page. Those comments might change some minds.
Without press coverage, word of mouth is the only way to get more signatures.
