UPDATE: The NK3 have been in touch to thank everyone for engaging with the petition, that they agree with a lot of the challenges that were described, and will shortly be announcing a project to co-design the potential options for how families should join Scouting - putting what’s best for people ahead of the current restrictions in technology. This would then inform the commissioning of a new membership system (currently “MyScouts”).

So although they don’t agree that the only solution is to immediately switch back to what we had before, they do agree that something has to change. 

They are still encouraging those who want to sign the petition to do so, but ideally to also leave a comment describing the challenges they face with our current approach so it can be used in the project mentioned above.
