Petition: Restore Fair Practices & Transparency in Antriksh Heights RWA, Sec 84

Petition: Restore Fair Practices & Transparency in Antriksh Heights RWA, Sec 84
The Issue
We pay our maintenance, we pay our bills — yet our basic rights are being denied by our own RWA.
We, the residents of Antriksh Heights, Sector 84, Gurugram, are deeply concerned about the functioning of our Resident Welfare Association (RWA).
For Years, residents have been facing irregularities, lack of transparency, and illegal practices that directly affect our daily lives.
Our Key Concerns:
No RWA Elections Held:
Since the RWA was formed, elections have not been conducted as mandated by law.
No RWA Membership Transparency:
Membership data is not being uploaded on the District Registrar (DR) portal.
Around 60–70 residents are still waiting for their RWA membership receipts, which have not been issued for the last 8 months.
Illegal Maintenance Hike:
The RWA arbitrarily increased maintenance charges by 48% without calling an Extraordinary General Body Meeting (EOGBM).
70–80 RWA members submitted their signatures to demand a General Body Meeting and informed the District Registrar (DR), but no action was taken by RWA.
Defiance of District Registrar’s Notices:
The DR issued a 14-day notice to the RWA for explanation, which was ignored.
A further 7-day extension notice was also ignored, showing complete disregard for the authorities.
Defiance of SDO Notices:
The SDO Kherki Dhaula also issued two notices to the RWA, but even those were ignored.
The RWA still refuses to issue electricity coupons to residents, leaving them helpless and without a basic necessity.
Illegal Linking of Maintenance to Electricity:
The RWA has illegally connected maintenance charges with electricity recharge meters.
Residents are being denied electricity recharge for reasons unrelated to electricity consumption.
A complaint has already been filed in CGRF/DHBVN, but no action has been taken yet.
DR & SDO Notice to RWA Antriksh Heights, Sec 84 Gurugram
Our Demands:
- Immediate conduct of free and fair RWA elections.
- Uploading of RWA membership data on the DR portal and issuance of pending membership receipts.
- Rollback of the illegal 48% maintenance hike until approved through proper GBM/EOGBM.
- Strict action against the RWA for defying DR notices.
- Immediate de-linking of maintenance from electricity recharge, as per HERC guidelines.
We, the residents of Antriksh Heights, urge the Deputy Commissioner, District Registrar, Chairman- HPUs, SDO Kherki Dhaula, SDM Manesar and all concerned authorities to intervene and restore fair governance, transparency, and residents’ rights in our society.
✍️ Sign this petition if you believe residents deserve transparency, accountability, and basic rights in their own homes.
