CGRF (Corporate Forum for Redressal of Consumer Grievances, DHBVN) has passed the final order clearly stating that Maintenance Charges cannot be linked or collected through our Electricity Meters. ⚡🚫
As per the order:
- SDO (Operations) has to implement this within one week.
- Electricity supply cannot be disconnected for non-payment of CAM charges.
- Billing of electricity must be separate, as per HERC guidelines.
- Status of common area meters, prepaid meters, and proper DHBVN tariff must be checked and corrected.
- Any non-compliance will be treated as a violation of HERC regulations.
This is a huge victory for every resident who raised their voice and stood united against this unfair practice. 💪
✅ From now onwards, maintenance charges cannot be forcefully added to electricity bills.
