To the CV residents: within the last few days, you may have received an email from Property Management, Ms. Bartlyn David, and if you did, what are your thoughts on it?

Here's our take on it: The rebuttal letter miscommunicates the truth and distorts the facts. It is another nasty letter from our association leaders.

True to form, Ms. David used 300 words, or 50% of the email to spread hearsay and incite fear. Additionally, we counted 16 bald-faced lies and only three truisms in the letter. That's a ratio of five lies to one truth. Wow!  It's said, "If a person lies about the small things, chances are they will lie about the big things."

We stand firm in our allegations and do not make unfounded accusations.  We possess supporting evidence for all the charges we alleged against the Board, CPM past and present employees for discriminatory, improper, and unethical conduct.

Ms. David won't respond to the real issues stated in our petition. It's much easier to smear somebody than admit you are wrong. It's easier to lie and twist the facts to meet one's needs, to turn things around, and to villainize one's accusers; just denying something doesn't mean something isn't true.

Next, to be clear, newer residents and newer board members are less likely to know the facts and truthfulness of our allegations against constituents of the Board of Directors et al. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. 

Again, let us agree that the number of individuals who have faced any abuse by anyone here in Chardonnay Village is undefendable. One person abused is one too many.
