The Issue

To: Activision Support Team

We, the undersigned Modern Warfare 3 fans and players from South Africa,  have been experiencing this since September 9th, 2024. This issue coincides with the game's release on Game Pass. It has resulted in latencies of 130ms or higher in lobbies and gameplay, negatively affecting our gaming experience regardless of platform, party, or network.

We have collectively noted the following:

The latency issue persists across all gaming platforms, including Battle.net, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC Game Pass.

The latency issue occurs regardless of whether we play solo or at a party.
Changing networks or optimising our internet setups, as suggested by our ISPs, have not resolved the problem.


We have not encountered game crashes or received any specific error messages tied to this issue.

The root cause of the high latency is the insufficient number of South African servers, exacerbated by the increased player numbers following the game's inclusion in the Game Pass.

 As loyal fans and consistent Call of Duty community participants, we urgently request that the Activision server support South African players to ensure a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for all.
