You all remember the scared kid video right? A terrified child who records a frantic, hyper-realistic warning about adults turning into violent, flesh-eating monsters. Charlie Higson uploaded this video on youtube on October 26, 2010 but had unfortunately taken it down a month later... As a teen in 2026, I didn't get a chance to see the original scared kid video (only the remake) and what I would really like to see is a live action of the whole series featuring the scared kid video (remake or og) which I think will really capture the attention of people, especially teens.  Lots of underrated early 2000s series which have HUGE live action potential, for example, Gone by Micheal Grant!  

I've seen many zombie films and series of young adults (16-17) and adults but I have never seen one of the young teens (12-14) and I also partially know why. Undead adults going around killing, eating, and devouring kids in brutal, gory, and graphic ways aren't very "kids-suitable" as a show/movie but it can be rated M or 16+! I'm just a really huge fan of Charlie Higson's work, especially this series... I hope lots of you sign this petition, it'll really mean a lot!!

Also signing this petition will also sign for a request to make a live action of Gone by Micheal Grant. Two similar but very different books which I think deserve a live action so we can see the sad, the happy, and the brave scenes depicted in the books come to life! Please sign this, wonderful people, I promise you a live action of this series will be phenomenal and a new, unique add-on to the many copy & paste zombie shows/films. We'll also get a British setting!!!
