Important meeting this Monday Oct 27th for Public input. Share on social media and tell your friends!  Say NO to parking lot on the Burnham Strip. Clarification: The Harbor District is considering other parking areas along with parking on the Burnham Strip, not instead of it.  They want to develop all areas they are considering.

What: Join Supervisor Mueller, Senator Becker and Caltrans as they take public comment regarding the Harbor District potentially turning a portion of the Burnham strip into a parking lot.

Tell them we don't want a parking lot on the strip because of the traffic congestion and pedestrian safety issues it will cause on Highway 1 and in El Granada. Tell Cal Trans we want a class 1 bike lane off the highway for bike and pedestrian safety, this way some highway parking can remain to provide overflow for the Harbor District for the 2-3 times a year they need it.
