Actualización de la peticiónLet More People in Illinois Legally Use Medical CannabisBad news about Illinois medical marijuana program

Medical Cannabis Alliance of Illinois

We just got some bad news:
Gov. Rauner has rejected the Illinois Medical Cannabis Advisory Board's recommendation to let people with PTSD, chronic pain, osteoarthritis, autism and IBS legally use medical marijuana with their doctors' recommendations.
There's no way to sugar coat it: This is simply devastating for patients who have these conditions and who need medical cannabis.
The governor essentially just told them to keep suffering or break the law. That's a choice no one should be forced to make.
But even though we lost this battle, please understand that our fight for patients is not over. We will keep petitioning and pushing to make sure that these patients' voices are heard until they are able to get the relief they need.
Stay tuned for information about how you can help patients in the next step of our long-term efforts on their behalf.
And thank you so much for everything you've already done for them.
