We, the undersigned members of the Islamic Society of Schuylkill County, respectfully submit this petition in support of Saydullo Akbarov, who is currently detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and held at Moshannon Valley Processing Center in Clearfield County. Saydullo has resided in the United States for over 20 years and has maintained a clean record with no criminal history.

Saydullo Akbarov is a valued and respected member of our faith community. His detention has caused severe hardship for his family and has deeply affected our congregation and the broader community that knows him and relies on him.

Saydullo is a devoted husband and father of four children. His children are strong students and contributing members of society. His son is currently pursuing higher education at Lehigh University, and his daughter is working toward a career in the healthcare field. His remaining children are active and engaged students with bright futures. Their stability, education, and overall well being depend heavily on their father’s presence, guidance, and support.

Saydullo is the sole financial provider for his household. He is a working taxpayer and a small business contributor whose income supports not only his immediate family but also the local economy. His detention has placed his family under sudden and significant financial strain, creating hardship that could have long lasting consequences for his spouse and children.

Within our faith community, Saydullo is known as a person of strong moral character. He is actively involved in religious life and consistently extends himself beyond it. He is a reliable and supportive member of our community, someone who helps others when needed and gives generously to charitable causes. He has demonstrated responsibility, service, and respect for the law. He is not a threat to public safety and has shown himself to be a trustworthy and contributing member of society.

This petition respectfully calls for fairness, humanity, and due process. We urge the appropriate authorities to consider Saydullo Akbarov’s strong family and community ties, his role as the sole provider for his household, and the unnecessary harm caused by his continued detention. He deserves the opportunity to address his immigration matter while supported by his family, faith community, and the broader community he has long served.

By signing this petition, we stand for dignity, compassion, and justice. We affirm the importance of keeping families together and treating individuals who contribute positively to their communities with humane consideration. We respectfully request that Saydullo Akbarov be given the opportunity to proceed with his case in a fair and just manner.
