Last night, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, I requested a RSA at the regularly scheduled Hinckley Township Trustee meeting.  All three current trustees were present, as well as the Fire, Police, and DPW chiefs.  Also present were former trustees Monique Ascheryl and Jim Swedwyk.

My request at the meeting: “With the tanker rollover on Route 303, an ODOT plow truck ending up in a ditch on 606, and other incidents, this looks less like isolated accidents and more like a pattern of roadside safety concerns. Would the township consider formally requesting a Road Safety Audit from ODOT so these locations can be reviewed systematically?”
