This petition is a call for action to preserve the integrity of our democratic republic and restore the sacred institutions that uphold our nation’s values. We have witnessed the systematic erosion of our democratic institutions by oligarchs and kleptocrats, and it is imperative that we unite to reject their oppressive influence.

Our elected leaders, whether duly elected or not, have become the primary threat to our nation’s democratic principles. They have disregarded our alliances, freedoms, and treaties- prioritizing their own interests over those of the American people. We must stand together to resist their tyrannical overreach.

Despite the challenges we face, we remain hopeful. We possess the collective voice to forge alliances with our neighboring countries, including Canada and Mexico- as well as abroad with our partners in the European Union. These relationships, established many years ago, continue to hold tremendous weight and influence. 

I propose a secession from the United States, either as an independent nation or as a part of Canada. History will judge us based on our actions during this critical juncture. It is our responsibility to stand up against a president who has demonstrated a lack of competence and a proven inability to govern effectively for all Americans. 
I urge the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Hawaii, Nevada, Arizona and Heck, even Alaska can join the #Amexit movement if they want. We’d love to have you! 
We have the opportunity to establish a stable relationship with nations that recognize our worth and share our values.
We can make a positive impact on our lives and the lives of our children by improving access to healthcare, education, and implementing stricter gun control measures. Furthermore, we can sever this toxic relationship with a president who disregards our constitution and threatens the sovereignty of our neighbors at home and abroad.
Therefore, let us collectively reject the MAGA movement and Trump’s presidency, joining a coalition of nations that prioritize the well-being of their citizens (as well as ours) and provide us with freedom from this absurd spectacle.

We stand together in this endeavor, always.
Let us restore sanity and sever this dysfunctional relationship once and for all.
