INTRODUCTION

We, the undersigned, fully recognize and uphold the right to freedom of speech and expression as guaranteed under Article 10 of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia. Freedom of expression is a cornerstone of democracy and must be protected.

However, such freedom is not absolute and must be exercised responsibly, within the limits of law, public order, and respect for the rights and dignity of others.

 
BACKGROUND
The Facebook page known as:

斗湖吹水站 Tawau Page 

appears to be without any identifiable, active, or accountable administrator. The founder or administrator is no longer in existence / no longer active, resulting in:

1. Absence of moderation;
2. Proliferation of defamatory and abusive comments;
3. Personal attacks and harassment;
4. Misleading or inflammatory content;
5. Lack of accountability for harmful postings.

The continued existence of an unmoderated platform has created an unhealthy digital environment and has enabled individuals to publish harmful statements without consequence.

 
CONCERNS

We respectfully submit that:

A digital platform without accountable administration undermines responsible discourse. The absence of moderation allows misuse that may amount to defamation, harassment, or incitement.
Public discourse must be balanced with responsibility and lawful boundaries. Abandoned pages pose risks to community harmony and public order. This petition does not seek to silence legitimate criticism, political discussion, or public debate. Rather, it seeks responsible governance of digital spaces where no accountable administrator exists.

 
OUR REQUEST
We respectfully request that Meta Platforms, Inc.:

1. Conduct an immediate review of the said Facebook page;
2. Verify the status and identity of its administrator;
3. Suspend or remove the page if it is confirmed to be abandoned and unmoderated;
4. Implement safeguards requiring accountable administration for pages operating in Malaysia.

DECLARATION
We affirm that this petition is made in good faith, in the interest of responsible digital governance, public order, and lawful freedom of expression.

1. 被骂的人要承受压力;

3. 家人、孩子也会被牵连。

我们真的要让这种环境继续下去吗？

我们尊重言论自由。但自由不等于放任。表达意见，不等于可以伤害别人。

如果一个 Facebook 页面已经无人管理、无人负责，它就不应该继续存在。

1. 立即审核该页面
2. 查明是否还有真实管理员
3. 若确认无人管理，请暂停或关闭页面

这不是打压声音。这是为斗湖守住基本的网络文明。
