Petition for the Replacement of the Klabb 316 Coordinator at St. Paul’s Bay School

The Issue

We, the undersigned, respectfully request the replacement of the current Klabb 316 Coordinator at St. Paul’s Bay School due to the following serious concerns:

  • Failure to Address and Communicate Important Issues – Incidents such as bullying and behavioural concerns are not only poorly managed but also not communicated to parents. Some families often learn about issues only if their child speaks up, leaving parents uninformed about their child’s well-being. As guardians, parents have the right to be promptly updated on any incidents affecting their children while under the school's care. A lack of communication undermines parental trust and accountability.
  • Denial of Access to Toilets – Children are being forced to relieve themselves in bushes instead of being allowed to use the school toilets while playing outside (where there is no public toilet), which is both unhygienic and unacceptable.
  • Misrepresentation of Classroom Activities – There is a lack of transparency about what actually happens in the classroom, with no information being provided to parents.
  • Excessive Screen Time – Children are frequently made to watch TV instead of engaging in educational or interactive activities.
  • Neglect by Staff – Teachers are often on their phones/playing mobile games instead of supervising and engaging with the children.
  • Inappropriate YouTube Content – Students are exposed to YouTube videos that parents have not approved and may not be age-appropriate.
  • Disrespectful Attitude Towards Parents – The coordinator frequently speaks with arrogance and an unprofessional attitude, making parents feel belittled or even "punished" when they raise concerns.

We believe that a change in leadership is necessary to ensure a safe, fair, and supportive environment for our children. We urge the relevant authorities to take immediate action and appoint a more suitable candidate for this role.
