The International Criminal Court (ICC) has a mandate to investigate and prosecute the most serious crimes of international concern, including genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.

The Palestinian people have suffered decades of systemic oppression and violence, including unlawful killings, forced displacement, and the denial of their basic human rights.

There is overwhelming evidence of Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity committed against the Palestinian people, including in the context of the ongoing Israeli occupation.

The ICC has opened an investigation into the situation in Palestine, but progress has been slow and inadequate.
And Whereas:

Julia Sebutinde, the current President of the ICC, has failed to demonstrate impartiality and a commitment to justice for the Palestinian people.

There are serious concerns about the ICC's handling of the situation in Palestine, including delays, lack of action, and a perceived bias in favor of Israel.

Numerous human rights organizations and international bodies, including Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and the UN Human Rights Office, have concluded that Israel's policies and practices towards the Palestinians amount to apartheid.

Organizations like B'Tselem and Yesh Din have also documented extensive evidence of Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The UN General Assembly has repeatedly affirmed that Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal under international law.
Therefore, we, the undersigned, demand the removal of Julia Sebutinde from the Presidency of the International Criminal Court.

We believe that a new leadership is necessary to ensure the ICC fulfills its mandate and delivers justice for the Palestinian people.

We call upon:

The ICC judges to initiate a process for the removal of Julia Sebutinde from the Presidency.

The international community to exert pressure on the ICC to expedite its investigation into the situation in Palestine and hold Israeli officials accountable for their crimes.
