Thank you again for your continued support.

A draft is in the works to edit the current petition text in order to have it address relevant public officials who can have a positive impact. This should be posted within the week, so stay tuned. The message will remain the same to preserve the Black Pearl. There are a few paths that I suggest developments could take, on which I will elaborate.

Since the park was opened by professional skateboarder, Tony Hawk, in 2005, it would be great to reach out to Tony as well as other big names who have skated the park such as Bam Margera and Shaun White. I've messaged them each privately on Instagram to promote the petition and haven't yet received a response, though Bam is currently in treatment as of his account. Not wanting to spam message anyone, if anyone has a real connection to one of these celebrated skaters and could get their attention, that would be amazing for the petition. I am not actively seeking out promotion from other social media pages, but might be interested if they put a positive spin on protecting the park.

The Black Pearl website talks about CISA, the Cayman Islands Skateboard Association, including a Mission, Vision and Outcomes. As part of potential revamp of the parks management, these can continue to be established and implemented.
