For a long time people with no resources to buy games have resorted to the only solution they had — piracy. But with the companies such as Denuvo more and more games become completely unavailable for a great amount of people. 

These companies defend the existence of such measures as "A way to make sure developers earn money" but this is nothing but lies — many studies have shown that income damage made by pirates is minimal. Even more, Denuvo has been noticed to actually worsen the preformance of the game because of the constant anti-piracy checks.

We, as gamers, shall not ignore this anymore! As our old friend Gabe Newell has said, "The best way to make users not to pirate games is to treat them in such way that they dont want to pirate". But it seems like gamedev corporations have started to forget about this, and now do the opposite — they dont give a damn about gamers' well-being, and instead make everything so that gamers could not express their disapproval via piracy. So, let's remind them that we still are in power here =)

As the creator of this petition, i propose two things, that we should demand to forever secure the future of games:

1) Complete ban of all programs that tamper with users system and encrypt the system data (Which is essentially what Denuvo does)

2) EU and USA shall review their copyright laws so that they dont actually harm the users and ensure that they can do whatever they want eith the purchased product, oncluding its non-commercial distribution

I understand that there is a high chance that not all of those demands will actually be fullfilled, but if it raises at least some awareness in society, that will be a step in the right direction.
