Pets, wildlife, and people with PTSD and Autism are terrified, traumatized and distressed due to the sound of exploding fireworks.

Fireworks negatively affect countless families’ lives. The loud noises cause many family pets to get scared and run away, have severe anxiety, panic attacks and even heart attacks. Many war veterans have PTSD that can be triggered by the sound of fireworks as well. Fireworks can also negatively affect the wild animals in the area.

Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem. There are SILENT FIREWORKS that can be used instead of traditional fireworks. Silent firework displays have been becoming more common over the past several years. They look visually the same as traditional fireworks without the loud bang. In fact, silent fireworks can even be more colorful than traditional fireworks.

Ban the sale of all fireworks to the general public. Silent fireworks should only be available to public display organizers who have a LICENSE to purchase them and use them RESPONSIBLY.

Several cities have started to use "silent fireworks" in order to make the shows more enjoyable for children, pets, and people with PTSD. The local government in Collecchio, Italy made a law that fireworks in their town MUST be SILENT. It's a way of reducing the stress that the loud noises cause to animals–not just pets, but wildlife, as well.

If we stop the use of all non-silent fireworks, everyone in our community will be able to enjoy them without the negative impacts.
