Why Does Pauline Still Not Have a Plush?

It’s 2025, and somehow, Pauline—one of Nintendo’s original characters—is still missing from their plush lineup. Fans have plushies of nearly every Mario character imaginable: obscure enemies, alternate versions of characters, even ones that appeared in a single game. But not Pauline.

For those who grew up with Donkey Kong, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, or fell in love with her all over again in Super Mario Odyssey, Pauline is more than just a side character. She’s Nintendo history. She’s talent, leadership, and style. She’s the first damsel in distress—and then she became the mayor of New Donk City, proving she was never just a background character.

So why has she been left out?

This petition isn’t just about a plush. It’s about recognition. Pauline deserves to stand on the shelf next to Mario, Peach, and the rest—not just in the games, but in our collections, our memories, and our homes.
