In our latest development in the petition, the numbers are slow but that's like any petition when it first starts. Thank you to those who signed this petition and left feedback

This petition is to;

• Show the supporters of the loving series, that there is light at the end of the tunnel. We may or may not get another season as he claimed himself
• If this petition does however go successful and is not taken down by Netflix or Mr. Gervais (himself), we will push and push this petition so that the top professionals, the Netflix decision board see this and may decide to RENEW After Life
• Furthermore, if it does go successful, someone else needs to have their own say rather than just you do this and you do that. It's a team decision with the cast and crew and not just a self-decision.
• Better tracks for each episode, go all out. It's the last season

In order to assure that this does however work, it has to be a team decision which songs go and which ones stay. 

Now the nitty-gritty details;

• When after filming, the post-production process,  goes to distributing the source material. Trailers and Teaser. Do not false wit your audience with a song (Example; 3 weeks before the initial release for the full After Life Season 3 trailer - there was a Queen song, You're My Best Friend - Night at the Opera (1975) playing in the background with new footage from the brand new season. However when it came to the full initial release, THE FULL 3-minute trailer. There was no sign of Queen and better yet while scanning through the episodes - there still was no sign of Queen. Literally, go back and watch the TEASER trailer
• You hear the song, and it doesn't appear anywhere in Season 3. So We wouldn't want the audience to be misleading - if you are a QUEEN fan then you'll understand where we are coming from.

• "Netflix puts out a lot of content. Unfortunately, a lot of it is rubbish. Unlike streaming services that carefully curate their licensed catalogs and produce their own high-quality content (Showtime, HBO, Disney+), Netflix appears to be doing neither.

  Netflix is licensing less high-quality external content than, they used to. Instead, they are pouring funds into an in-house, shotgun-style production and marketing strategy: load up both barrels, aim the Netflix production/marketing behemoth in the general direction of their audience, and release a dozen single-season Netflix Original titles all at the same time. If anything actually hits the side of the Netflix barn, it may get a second season, but rarely more than that. I can think of only a handful of recent Netflix Originals with more than two seasons.

  I hesitate to describe After Life as actually having three seasons, even though technically, it does. Each of the three seasons consists of six thirty-minute episodes. Yes, each season is a whopping three hours long. That’s the equivalent of less than a single season of The Big Bang Theory, for all three seasons, combined. While Ricky does consider the story complete, I would have happily consumed much more of it.

  This feels like both a missed opportunity and a cagy marketing strategy, designed to generate as much media buzz about the show for as long as possible. Netflix already has my subscription, and making more of a show I already watch will not make them more money. So, yes Netflix made a very good show, but like so much other Netflix content, this felt too short. More, please.

  The majority of Netflix originals are either too short, disappointing, or in some cases, both. I am beginning to think of Netflix as a thrift shop – mostly junk, with the odd cool find.

  Netflix has become the Wal-Mart of streaming: a celebration of mediocrity. That said, if a particularly good Netflix title does come along (like this one), we will try to cover it.

  Thankfully, once in a while Netflix does get it right. Top-grade Netflix Originals might not be plentiful, but when the stars align, magic does occasionally happen – often complete with fanfare and awards. Examples of recent Netflix home runs include Black Mirror, The Queen’s Gambit, and The Haunting Of Hill House. To this list, we can add After Life, written, starring, and directed by Ricky Gervais. After Life is a genuine masterpiece – one of the best things Netflix has made to date." -  from Brad.
