This petition is to show our support for Ricky Gervais' Multi-Awarding Netflix Series After Life. Has anyone seen the After Life Benches, look at the golden plaque it says 2019 - (blank) - so who is to say After Life is really finished?

This is also to show our support in a new season or a mini-series on each character other than just Tony Johnson. Gives real depth to each individual character in the After Life 'world'  Sure Ricky Gervais has claimed in multiple interviews that the series has come to a close in 2022, the bitter end. The final chapter in Tony's life.

When Ricky Gervais has been asked what the ending of After Life means, Gervais said: “It's just that life goes on, you know? When we're all dead and buried, that field's still there, the Tambury Fair is still going, that tree is still there, and it's basically said that we all die, but not today.” He continued: “That's what the ending is saying." 

That answer still doesn't harm the thought of a petition for a new season or a mini-series after the events from Series/Season 3. Who's to say it might go through and be considered by the decision board at Netflix - if it does go through?

As part of the audience, the people who enjoyed the show for its entirety and its important messages within each episode. 

Personal Note - there are a few things I'd change like some of the music used - correct timing and perfect pace. The timing of everything and including more flashback scenes and Tony actually standing up and actually going for the first time in a long time, regardless of the outcome, and takes Emma out for that

Some could completely disagree and others could be happy with Season 1 to Season 3, however, this is just an idea and we aren't saying that this petition will make Season 4 but we can at least give it a shot! There is no harm in trying in getting a mini series. Why another season? Is three enough? To some, the answer would be yes, for others, it would be no. We'd like to hear other characters' stories, whether is Lenny (Tony Way) and June (Jo Hartley), Tony's brother-in-law and the boss of the Tambury Gazette - Matt (Tom Basden) and his family, Kath (Diane Morgan) with her new boyfriend, Sandy (Mandeep Dhillon)with university work and many many great characters.

Ricky Gervais has explained why Roxy was missing from season three of After Life. After Life season three was incredible but it missed out on two iconic characters, Sandy and Roxy. According to Ricky Gervais, the actress who played Sandy already had some contracted work in America so couldn't make filming for season three ...

Bottom Line; Do you want another season of After Life or a follow-up mini-series? If so then sign this petition and share it with others! Let's make a change!

Will Tony finally get up off his feet again and actually go out for the first time in a long time, regardless of the outcome? Will he have the courage to finally ask Emma to go for that boat ride she suggested or will it be too late?
