As of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 episode 17, it has been reported by multiple sources that many MAPPA animators have left Mid production due to obscure working hours and violation of their Basic Human Rights. It has been made clear that they have been working under conditions that threaten their personal health and have been forced to produce a product that is subpar due to the production committee seeing greed > creativity.

This is impacting the Animation industry as a whole, and it will be a pivotal moment for the Industry moving forward. Animation should be a inclusive and welcoming environment for artists to express their talent and push their creative skillset. This however, is not the case with MAPPA studios, and they are harming this philosophy.

I encourage all who read this to please sign this petition, as the animators are not being treated to a satisfactory or positive degree. It is absolutely disugsting on what is currently occuring within the studio, and they need to do better. It is not a good look when 15+ animated works have been produced since 2020 under the same studio. MAPPA animators need justice, and they 100% deserve better.

Grow up MAPPA. Nows the time to stop.
