Petition for Lauren Boebert to Host In-Person Town halls

The Issue

On March 26th, 2025, EIGHT THOUSAND people attended Lauren Boebert's FIRST townhall meeting since being elected as the federal congressional representative to Colorado District 4.  The number of participants indicate that constituents are involved and extremely concerned about what is currently happening in the federal government. Boebert represents 21 counties in Colorado, and only hosting one teletownhall is woefully insufficient for a person that champions the "topic of communicating" (her quote from the meeting).  As a new representative to the district, it is imperative that Representative Boebert meet her constituents IN PERSON for townhalls to get a more authentic representation of the district than a teletownhall can provide.

In-person townhalls provide:

1) Real-time feedback from constituents who are not muted or carefully chosen

2) No concerns about tech issues for those experiencing problems trying to join the calls or who are dropped from calls

3) Opportunities to ask questions in-person (versus having their questions being read by a staffer)

4) The opportunity to ask follow-up questions for better clarification of answers

5) REPRESENTATION and a stronger VOICE of the people.

Thus, the petition:

1) Representative Boebert must host an in-person townhall in BOTH the northern (such as Weld County) and the southern (such as Douglas County) parts of the district

2) Host a virtual town hall specifically for rural communities (giving rural communities a specific voice)

3) She hosts all town halls by May 31st, 2025.
