The Issue

ما، شهروندان افغان و اعضای جامعه بینالمللی که این دادخواست را امضا کردهایم، به احترام این درخواست را به دولت ایالات متحده، کنگره و سنای ایالات متحده، و کمیسیون اروپا ارائه میکنیم تا نگرانیهای جدی مرتبط با فعالیتها و روابط فوزیه کوفی، عضو پیشین پارلمان افغانستان و فعال سیاسی را بررسی کنند.
روابط مالی با طالبان
گزارشهایی وجود دارد که نشان میدهد فوزیه کوفی با طالبان روابط مالی دارد که سوالاتی درباره تعهد او به ارزشهای دموکراسی و حقوق بشر در افغانستان ایجاد میکند.
تهدید فعالان حقوق بشر و تیمهای ورزشی
ادعا میشود که فوزیه کوفی بر فعالان و تیمهای ورزشی افغانستان فشار میآورد تا او را به عنوان رهبر خود بشناسند. گفته شده که در صورت عدم پیروی، تهدید به حذف از عرصه بینالمللی میکند، که این موضوع اصول عدالت و آزادی را نقض میکند.
اختلال در ورزش افغانستان

درخواست اقدام
ما از دولت ایالات متحده، کنگره، سنا، و کمیسیون اروپا درخواست میکنیم که:
۱. تحقیق آغاز کنند: تحقیقاتی جامع درباره روابط مالی فوزیه کوفی با طالبان، فعالیتهای او که نهادهای افغانستان را تضعیف کردهاند، و ترویج نژادپرستی و ملیگرایی انجام دهند.
۲. بررسی تعاملات بینالمللی: درگیری نهادهای بینالمللی با رهبران پیشین افغانستان که به فساد و نقض حقوق بشر متهم شدهاند را بازبینی کنند.
۳. شفافیت را تضمین کنند: برای بازگرداندن اعتماد عمومی، شفافیت و پاسخگویی در تعامل با چهرههای سیاسی افغان را ارتقا دهند.
۴. صدای افغانها را حمایت کنند: نگرانیهای شهروندان افغان در سراسر جهان که عدالت و انصاف در نمایندگی کشورشان را مطالبه میکنند، تقویت کنند.
این دادخواست صدای جمعی شهروندان افغان است که نگران آینده کشورشان و سلامت مکانیسمهای حمایت بینالمللی هستند. ما معتقدیم که تحقیق شفاف در مورد فعالیتهای فوزیه کوفی برای حفظ عدالت، حقوق بشر، و اصول دموکراسی ضروری است.
انجمن جوانان اجتماعی (SYCA)
این انجمن که در سال ۲۰۲۳ برای نظارت بر وضعیت اجتماعی-سیاسی افغانستان مجدداً فعال شد، گزارشهایی از شهروندان افغان دریافت کرده است که نگرانیهای جدی خود را درباره اقدامات و روابط فوزیه کوفی مطرح کردهاند.
انجمن جوانان اجتماعی که در سال ۲۰۱۲ رسماً در دولت افغانستان ثبت شد، به طور فعال در پروژههای متعددی برای توسعه جوانان، پیشرفت اجتماعی، و مبارزه با فساد شرکت داشته است. این انجمن با حمایت سازمانهای بینالمللی از جمله سفارت ایالات متحده در کابل و ISAF HQ (RS)، پروژههای مهمی از جمله موارد زیر را اجرا کرده است:
آموزش رسانههای اجتماعی: توانمندسازی جوانان افغان برای استفاده مسئولانه از پلتفرمهای دیجیتال.
کنفرانسهای جوانان: برگزاری رویدادهای ملی برای ترویج گفتگو و توسعه.
برنامههای بازسازی کشاورزی: ارائه مهارتها و فرصتها برای جوانان افغان.
کمپینهای انتخاباتی: کمک به کاندیداهای ریاست جمهوری در استراتژیهای رسانهای از طریق روزنامهنگاران آزاد.
خدمات بهداشتی: ارائه خدمات پزشکی به نیروهای نظامی افغانستان با حمایت بینالمللی.
ابتکارات ضد فساد: ایجاد گروهی از دانشجویان افغان-آمریکایی در همکاری با SIGAR و ISAF HQ (RS).
Petition for Investigation into the Activities of Fawzia Koofi
We, the undersigned Afghan citizens and members of the international community, respectfully submit this petition to the United States Government, the United States Congress and Senate, and the European Commission to address critical concerns regarding the activities and affiliations of Fawzia Koofi, a former Afghan Parliament member and political activist.
Financial Ties with the Taliban: There are reports suggesting that Fawzia Koofi maintains financial interests with the Taliban, raising questions about her commitment to Afghanistan’s democratic and human rights values.
Threats to Human Rights Activists and Sports Teams: Fawzia Koofi is allegedly pressuring activists and Afghanistan’s sports teams to recognize her as their leader. Non-compliance reportedly leads to threats of international exclusion, undermining the principles of fairness and freedom.
Disruption of Afghan Sports: Her involvement has reportedly resulted in the destabilization of Afghan sports institutions, causing public distress and exacerbating hunger and insecurity.
Promotion of Racism and Nationalism: Fawzia Koofi is accused of utilizing her political network to propagate divisive ideologies, further fragmenting Afghanistan’s diverse communities.
Corruption Allegations: Allegations of drug trafficking and corruption tarnish her credibility. Despite widespread disapproval (with over 65% of Afghan citizens reportedly opposing her leadership), the international community continues to engage with her.
Call to Action
We urge the United States Government, Congress, Senate, and the European Commission to:
Initiate an Investigation: Conduct a thorough investigation into Fawzia Koofi’s alleged financial ties with the Taliban, her activities undermining Afghan institutions, and her propagation of racism and nationalism.
Review International Engagement: Reassess the involvement of international bodies with former Afghan leaders accused of corruption and human rights violations.
Ensure Transparency: Promote accountability and transparency in dealings with Afghan political figures to restore public trust.
Support Afghan Voices: Amplify the concerns of Afghan citizens worldwide who demand justice and fairness in the representation of their country.
This petition represents the collective voice of Afghan citizens who are deeply concerned about the future of their nation and the integrity of international support mechanisms. We believe that a transparent investigation into Fawzia Koofi’s activities is essential to uphold justice, human rights, and the principles of democracy.
The Association ( SYCA) reactivated in 2023 to monitor the socio-political situation in Afghanistan. Afghan citizens have since reached out, voicing grave concerns about the actions and affiliations of Fawzia Koofi.
The Social Youth Coordination Association, officially registered with the Afghan government in 2012, has actively contributed to various initiatives aimed at youth development, social progress, and anti-corruption efforts in Afghanistan. Supported by international organizations, including the United States Embassy in Kabul and ISAF HQ (RS), the Association has implemented significant projects such as:
Social Media Training: Empowering Afghan youth to leverage digital platforms responsibly.
Youth Conferences: Hosting nationwide events to promote dialogue and development.
Agricultural Rehabilitation Programs: Providing skills and opportunities for Afghan youth.
Election Campaigns: Assisting presidential candidates with media strategies through freelance journalists.
Health Services: Delivering medical care to Afghan military forces with international support.
Anti-Corruption Initiatives: Establishing a dedicated group of Afghan-American university students in collaboration with SIGAR and ISAF HQ (RS).
