Sleep and rest are basic rights and comfort we look forward to having at home. Imagine not being able to have rest and enjoy the simple pleasure of a nap because of a constant nuisance that is an immediate neighbour. This is the plight of those  living in Hougang who have been putting up with this perpetual disturbance for more than 12 years [this is 2024 ya'all and no government agency is doing anything about this selfish person ruining the peace of the community].

Every single day, this neighbour [an ex-employee under the RSAF / MinDef] would slam / bang constantly into the wee hours of the morning, in the afternoon and mornings depending on when he is home. This has gone on for too long - the noise reverberates throughout the estate, preventing young and old from rightful rest. An old uncle undergoing dialysis went up to his unit to reason but nothing has changed.

Immediate neighbours have reached out to the HDB, Police, RSAF and even Member of Parliament Darryl David and none were helpful nor concerned / sincere in solving this long-time nuisance issue.

Please Singapore, let's come together and remove this nuisance from the neighbourhood.  He has to be evicted and removed from having the right to an HBD unit unless he stops his anti-social behaviour. 

Shared living spaces require mutual respect among one another. 

Support this petition to urge the MHA, MND, HDB MP Darryl David to grow some regulatory bite and solve the nuisance issues at the bud. Your support will be deeply appreciated by all members of the surrounding units who have been putting up with this noise and disturbance for years.
