As a member of the Transformers community, I respectfully ask retailers to help combat scalping by introducing a purchase limit of 1–2 copies per customer for newly released, high-demand Transformers figures during their initial release.
The purpose of this request is to give genuine fans a fair opportunity to purchase figures at retail price before they are bought in bulk and resold at heavily inflated prices.
A purchase limit of 1–2 copies still allows collectors to:
• Purchase one figure to open and one to keep sealed.
• Purchase an additional figure as a gift.
• Purchase an extra figure for a community giveaway. Clarifying this:

✅ A customer can buy 1 or 2 of the same figure (for example, two Studio Series Optimus Primes).

✅ They can still buy different figures in the same visit (for example, one Optimus, one Megatron, one Bumblebee, etc.).

❌ The limit only applies to multiple copies of a single figure, not to the total number of different figures purchased.

This petition is not against collectors, customizers, content creators, or legitimate sellers. It is aimed at reducing large-scale bulk purchases that leave store shelves empty and make it difficult for genuine fans to find newly released Transformers figures at retail price.
I respectfully ask retailers to consider implementing these purchase limits during the launch period of newly released, high-demand Transformers figures and to enforce them consistently so that more fans have a fair opportunity to enjoy the hobby.
Transformers has inspired generations of fans around the world. Every collector deserves a fair chance to purchase new releases without having to compete against large-scale scalping operations.
