The Issue

Time is precious and children grow quickly. Too many fathers are attacked and fined with out representation or free acces to the courts.

They are forced to struggle immediately after the mother holds the children Ransom. They make it impossible for too many hard working fathers to establish a new home for his children. Many of these Father get stuck back home, or renting a room with little to no room for his children. On top of all this he now has to work too many hours just to cover 2 house holds. The mothers demand enough to counter their own bills more so than to support their children.

Below is a petition for new laws to PREVENT good fathers from being forced to a deadbeat status. Please remember time is precious and that is one thing Father can not fix, earn or recreate. Pass this on PLEASE this deserves every signature from each resident.

Mr. PRESIDENT, you are a resident of Florida correct? Do you have time to sign one document for fathers or offer some insight on these laws that exist now.

Equal Parental Rights Act—Fair Timesharing for Fathers

To: Florida Legislature and Relevant Family Law Authorities

We, the undersigned, call for reform in Florida’s family law system to ensure fathers seeking equal timesharing with their children are given fair and unbiased consideration.

Currently, fathers face systemic barriers when pursuing equal custody rights, often being disadvantaged in court rulings despite their ability and willingness to provide stable, loving care. This petition demands legislative change to establish:

#1. Presumption of 50/50 Custody
- Courts shall begin with the presumption that equal timesharing is in the best interest of the child.
- A parent seeking to alter this presumption must provide clear and convincing evidence that equal custody is detrimental to the child’s welfare.

#2. Equal Legal Access for Fathers in Financial Matters
- The **Department of Revenue** shall grant fathers equal access to legal counsel before enforcing child support demands or penalties.
- Financial obligations must not be imposed without due process, ensuring fathers have the opportunity to challenge unfair financial burdens.

#3. Judicial Accountability in Custody Decisions
- Family court judges must provide written justification for custody rulings that deviate from equal timesharing.
- Fathers denied equal custody without valid evidence shall have the right to request an immediate review of the decision.

#4. Enforcement and Legal Protections
- Violations of this Act by courts or state agencies may be subject to legal review and penalties.
- Florida law shall be amended to ensure gender neutrality in custody rulings, prioritizing parental equality over historical biases.

Fathers deserve fair treatment in custody proceedings. Florida’s current system must change to ensure children maintain equal relationships with both parents.

If you support equal parental rights and fair timesharing laws, sign this petition today to demand action from Florida lawmakers.
