We, the undersigned, urge the State Government of Delhi to take immediate and effective action to combat the severe air pollution crisis in Delhi by implementing artificial rain solutions whenever the Air Quality Index (AQI) exceeds 200. This petition is grounded in the belief that artificial rains, a solution developed by our own country's experts at IIT Kanpur, can significantly contribute to mitigating the adverse effects of air pollution on the health and well-being of Delhi's residents.

REASONS FOR PETITION:

• Reduced Life Expectancy: Studies have indicated that the alarming levels of air pollution in Delhi are associated with a reduced life expectancy by up to 12 years. This is an alarming statistic that calls for urgent and innovative solutions to safeguard the health of the city's population.
  
  
• Challenging Living Conditions: The current air quality in Delhi has made living conditions extremely challenging for its residents. The persistent high levels of pollutants, especially PM2.5 and PM10, have severe implications for respiratory health, leading to increased cases of respiratory diseases.
  
  

Requested Action: We respectfully request the State Government of Delhi to:

• Collaborate with experts, including those from IIT Kanpur, to explore the feasibility of implementing artificial rain solutions during periods of high air pollution.
• Allocate necessary resources and funds to initiate pilot projects and studies to assess the effectiveness of artificial rains in improving air quality.
• Establish a comprehensive plan for the systematic and timely deployment of artificial rain solutions whenever the AQI in Delhi surpasses 200.
