Petition for a Miracle: Partner with Us in Prayer
The Issue
Paragraph 1: Who is impacted?
Alphonso Jr. Graham — “Phonzo” — is a father of two little girls who are already carrying heartbreak no child should have to hold. Earlier this year, they experienced the loss of their baby brother, and now they are facing the terrifying absence of their dad. They are the most impacted by this, and their need is immediate, emotional, and life-shaping. But there are others impacted too: believers near and far who have heard me declare again and again that God will deliver Phonzo to us alive and well — even better than before he went missing. If this ends in tragedy, many will be tempted to let that grief harden into a smaller view of God, reaffirming every limiting belief that says miracles are for “other times” or “other people,” but not for now.
Paragraph 2: What is at stake?
What’s at stake is more than one family’s anguish — it’s a living, global witness of whether we actually believe what we say we believe. God’s Word tells us that if we ask, we will receive; that nothing is impossible with Him; that faith moves mountains; that He finishes what He starts. This moment is a holy collision between that Word and the world’s verdict. I believe I was born for such a time as this, not because we are special, but because God is faithful and His promises are true. Either His Word is alive and trustworthy, or it isn’t — and this can be a test that awakens the Church. If God delivers Phonzo alive and well, it will embolden Christians globally to step into the authority Christ gave us, to pray like we mean it, and to live as people who truly expect Heaven to invade earth. But if we shrink back now, if we decide it’s safer to “be realistic” than to believe in God’s unknowable power, then we’re teaching ourselves and our children that hope is dangerous and faith is optional — and that’s a cost too heavy to accept.
Paragraph 3: Why is now the time to act?
We know God can do a miracle at any time — nothing about this is hard for Him. But in human time, every hour matters. The less time Phonzo’s girls spend without their father, the better. The sooner this miracle comes, the sooner their hearts can breathe again. So why not now? Why not in this moment, in this generation, in these circumstances that everyone calls impossible? We are calling on Christians across the world to partner with us — not only with your signature here, but with your prayers for a miracle. Stand with us. Believe with us. Ask with us. Let’s contend together for Phonzo to be delivered to us alive and well, for the sake of his daughters, for the glory of God, and for a testimony that strengthens faith everywhere.
Please sign this petition and commit to praying daily for Phonzo’s safe return. Share this with your church, your prayer groups, and anyone who believes God still does the impossible.
