Many may know that Nick Russo- a neighborhood guy - is undergoing both radiation and chemotherapy for his cancer. He and his family have been fighting this illness for some time.

The SMCPS has arranged for a special healing Mass for Nicky and ALL those who have need for special prayers and graces to deal with illnesses. Our Pastor Fr. Jon Thomas will celebrate the Mass on Sunday Sept. 8 at 10:00 am at St. Michael’s Church. He will also do a special blessing for the ill.

Please pass along this information and plan to attend. Your presence does make a difference. Also please invite anyone you know who is dealing with any illness or addiction or who needs prayers and graces and would benefit from the support of others.

For sure sharing Nicky’s and other persons’s pain in this way, in Church as a group ..is one of the few things many of us can do. It not only let’s all know that we are with them in their paiin but It brings all of us together to realize our shared strengths and the gift of health.
