Special Thanksgiving Mass tomorrow Nov. 20 at 11:00 am at St. Michael's Church

Reminder...Reminder...Reminder Join the neighborhood for this month’s Thanksgiving Mass at St. Michael’s Church tomorrow Sunday, Nov. 20. Thanksgiving is about family and God and is made more special in the Church that means so much to us. Before Football and Turkey, Thanksgiving recalled the feast held in 1621 by the Pilgrims and has been officially around since 1789, after a proclamation by George Washington. It was declared a federal holiday every year since 1863, when, during the American Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of "Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens," Let’s join together to add our voice and rich traditions to the original meaning of Thanksgiving.
