Special Pre-Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday Nov. 20 at 11:00 am
There will be one special pre-Thanksgiving Mass at St. Michael’s Church on Sunday Nov. 20- the Sunday before Thanksgiving- at 11:00 am. This special monthly Mass is one of the regularly scheduled services at St. Michael’s Church. This is a great way to join with old and new friends to thank God and country for our many past and present blessings. Let’s use this Mass to recall our friendships, traditions, and memories from Ducktown, or acknowledge the gift of our family and our Catholic faith…all are worth our attention at Thanksgiving time. We are especially blessed to be able to share this Holiday in the Church that makes our memories and beliefs more alive. I’ll send out another reminder of this pre-Thanksgiving Mass later this month.
Also remember that St. Michael’s Church is not closed. Anyone in the community or outside the area can schedule a Funeral or Wedding Service at St. Michael’s Church by contacting Fr. Jon Thomas the Pastor at St. Monica’s Parish Office at 609-345-1878. If you wish to tour Historic St. Michael’s Church please schedule a free tour through the Parish Office or by contacting Richard Negro, the local coordinator of the St. Michael’s Church Preservation Society at 609-347-3340 or at maririch1@msn.com.
