COME HOME TO ST. MIKES The best way to Save St. Mikes and yourself is to return to the Church. Attend Mass, speak to the new pastor, receive the sacraments again, offer a long distance contribution. Let's face I, the reason St. Mikes is in this bind is because many of us have left the Church or forgot about the value of St. Michaels Church as an historic and spiritual center of our lives. This is not hard to do in this culture. As we retreated to the burbs and became people of the world we left behind our heritage...so the Bishop noticed this and took away something that we didn't realize is very- very valuable. Now we are arguing late in this game to save what we never should have lost. The message to me and us all is to never forget your roots and what is important now is to; COME HOME TO ST. MIKES.
