L&Q Energy charges £1.21 daily standing charge for their heating and hot water compared to British Gas's 28.485p per day. Although they will claim this is to help maintain the communal system, I am sure that this maintenance could be provided at a quarter of the cost.

Being mandated to pay this amount considering the cost of living is rising, and the inability to change provider results in an unfair monolpoly for L&Q energy causing further financial strain for their many residents. Let's work together and raise awareness to change this unfair practice.

Here is the calculation; £441.65 L&Q Energy vs £103.97 British Gas per year on standing charges alone.
