Petition Against the Illegal Factory PA/07598/21 in Siggiewi

We, the undersigned residents of Siggiewi, urge the Planning Authority to reject the application PA/07598/21, which seeks to sanction the ongoing illegal and unsanctioned operations of a dusty factory in our community. This petition is in response to the blatant abuse of the planning system by the developers, who continue to operate without any form of supervision, restrictions, or permits for industrial activity.

Before the illegalities started in 2019, this land was still agricultural.

 Why This Matters

The presence of this factory in our neighborhood poses significant threats to our environment, health, and quality of life. Here are the critical reasons why this factory should not be sanctioned:
