Hello Everyone - I would like to remind you to continue sharing this petition and to raise awareness. Additionally, writing this update to inform you of the following:

1. Zoom recording of meeting released and uploaded to YouTube with this link taking you exactly to beginning of public comments. Please feel free to share. Our last speaker (link here) Crystal (a kinder teacher) sums up our efforts flawlessly. Thank you again everyone! 
2. No update from MHUSD board regarding May 1st Budget Advisory Committee meeting and its composition. I followed up again today. Continue reaching out to our board members (contact information here) and Superintendent Garcia (contact here) for clarity. This committee will review and make final recommendations on 2024-2025 budget. This is a very crucial role to make sure community members can participate in. 
3. No updated from MUSD board or Superintendent Garcia regarding my previous questions on contracts made from Measure G (nearly $800K) that went into the FACE center renovations. Please feel free to contact the board and Dr Garcia with the same questions (laid out in post here).
4. We need more community members who are willing to run for the board in Nov 2024 election. The following areas seats are up this Nov (area 6 marked as red on this map, area 5 green, area 7 blue). Please share the word and connect with us if you live in these areas and willing to run.
