Hello everyone - Last night’s overwhelming show of support was a powerful demonstration of our solidarity. Our diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and affiliations only strengthen our collective effort to prioritize the education and well-being of our children. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for being there, voicing your concerns (33 speakers), online (150 on Zoom) and for standing up for our students’ (75+ packed room & hallway).

Together, we stood united with our dedicated educators, unequivocally voicing our dissent against Dr. Garcia’s leadership and the current direction of our district. Our message resonated with undeniable clarity and conviction.

Our academic growth is declining, our deficit is growing and the cuts at the school level are only going to hurt our students more.

Thank you for your impassioned participation and unwavering commitment to our children’s educational excellence.
