Sir Jon Cunliffe has released his report into the UK water industry. Among his 88 recommendations, he proposes a 30% increase to customers.

For over 125 years, especially since privatisation 36 years ago, the water industry has profited trillions of pounds from customers, most of which has been syphoned off to foreign shareholders, investors, huge pay packages, bonuses and incentives rather than upgrading the aging and failing infrastructure. Why should the customers who use this life resource be made to pay again for these companies massive failures and wasting of trillions of pounds out of our economy?

These companies should be upgrading infrastructure with the money they have had for so long.

This petition hopes to hold these companies, rather than the customers to account for their own deliberate negligence.
