Pine Richlands head varsity football coach, Eric Kasperowicz, as well as the rest of the coaching staff for both the highschool and middle school were fired last night because of “hazing” done to another student in a locker room that has been told to be not true. Whether the so called hazing is a fact or not, it was in the locker room where coaches were not present at the time so they should have no blame in this certain situation. Many players have moved to Pine Richland just for this football team and coaching and this is not what they should get in return. Kasperowicz has lead his teams to 4 wipial championships and 2 state championships and has no fault in this situation as well as the other coaches. Many students are considering transferring school due to the firing of their coaches. Not to mention Kasperowicz was fired very unprofessionally, through an email, and then was not allowed to attend the board meeting. Today it was confirmed that Kasperowicz is permanently gone but that is not how it should be. Let’s get our coaches back.
