Cllr Neil Cruise was one of the main drivers behind the clause in the county plan which blocks any consideration of a greenway on the closed railway. if you care about the greenway and you want to see it happen and want to vote FG then remember this fact.

Antoinette Peyton FG candidate supports the East Mayo Greenway.

Neil Cruise FG Candidate opposes the greenway.

Also note that Adrian Forkan FF supports East Mayo Greenway  and 

Both Sinn Fein candidates will tow the party line which does not support the greenway on closed railway route until such time as the railway is possible.
