The decision by An Bord Pleanala that the VeloRail project does need planning permission is a watershed.  What happens now?  A good question.  

We hope MCC will see sense and start listening.   I hope they will realise that a path of some kind needs to go alongside the velorail route even if it is only for safety access, and why shouldn't this double up as a greenway?  So why don't they listen and include this in the plans they will have to show us? Because if they don't listen and pass planning with no path alongside we will just send the planning back to ABP.  Let's start by engaging with MCC

Why not all of us write an email in our own words and explain why you supported the appeal to ABP and tell them you are pleased with the outcome and what you hope MCC will do now. copy your emails to your local councillor, and start asking questions of your election candidates. Post your emails up on the facebook page and tell us what you are doing.  If our pressure remains unrelenting they will have to listen. Thanks Brendan
